Peace!

Just a little bit about my journey…

As a child, my family was always in the kitchen preparing home-cooked meals. Baking bread, making fresh lemonade, tomato sauce simmering for hours. There was always an emphasis and pride in preparing fresh quality meals. I took that pride with me everywhere I went and to this day I do not settle on low-quality food.

In 2003 my Sister was diagnosed with an Astrocytoma tumor in her brain. Shortly after, she went through brain surgery, which inspired me to research herbs and natural ways to heal. I began visiting herb shops in China Town, New York City.

To date I've been vegan for 5 years. Through trial and error I have learned to make plant-based meals; from bread to fried “not chicken”, to desserts. I have hosted sold-out food venues, catered meals, and sold seamoss and herb tonics internationally. I'm looking forward to sharing these discoveries with you in The Culture Pivot.
